Obituary
James Doyle Rafferty passed
away at the age of 91 surrounded by family August 20th 2015.
Survived by his wife of 64 years Dorothy (nee Katzenmeier), children Bill
Rafferty, Shannon (Greg) Ryan, and Colleen Rafferty. Will be missed by his
grandchildren Two Stars Scott, William Scott, Ariane Ryan and Callie Ryan as
well as his nieces and nephews on the Lippold and Rafferty sides. Predeceased
by his Father James, Mother Sarah (nee McLaughlin) and Brother Neil. Jim will
be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends. The family would like to
thank the Barrhaven Manor and Care For staff for their wonderful care during
Jim’s final days. A Celebration of Life will be held October 24 (what
would have been Jim’s 92nd birthday) at Barrhaven Manor (110
Berrigan Dr.) visitation at 1pm with a service at 2 pm followed by
refreshments. Donations in honour of Jim’s memory can be made to the
Parkinson’s Society.
