In Loving Memory of Charles Richard "Rick" Steele...



Born: October 14, 1952 in London, Ontario
Passed: April 24, 2015 in Ottawa, Ontario


Obituary:

STEELE, Charles Richard “Rick” – Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24th at home with his loving family by his side.  Rick will be deeply missed by his loving wife Bonnie.  Cherished father of Shawna Lee and Kyle Alexander.  Loving son of Rita Steele (nee Millette) and the late Frank Steele.  Deeply missed by his siblings Francine (Doug), John (Shirley) and Barbara (Andrew).  As per Rick’s request there will be no service.  Rick will be a missed presence in the online gaming community, a strong warrior to the end, saving the world at every opportunity.

  2. This is a sad time for everyone that knew and loved Rick. He perfected the art of *speaking before thinking* that got got him into a few unwelcome predicaments. Underneath his stubborn and bull-headed persona, that he struggled to maintain, was a kind, gentle and caring person who would eagerly give the shirt off his back AND his last nickel to someone in need. Rick loved deeply and was easy to love - I will miss you big brother! Rest peacefully and I look forward to seeing you again on the other side of the bridge! Love John
