Born: July 15, 1921 in Victoria, British Columbia
Passed: July 27, 2015 in Ottawa, Ontario

Obituary:

FOX, Nancy (Kyle) - Peacefully, with family by her side, Monday, July 27, 2015. Devoted wife of the late Joseph (Jay); loving mother of Laurie (Maureen) and Greg (Ann).  She was a loving grandmother of Alison, Lindsey, Wendy, Julie and Amy and great grandmother of Jared, Devyn and Peyton .  Dear sister of Hilda (John Wenrick). Predeceased by brother Jack Kyle (Madelaine). Born in Victoria, Nancy was a dedicated army wife moving across the country and ending up in Ottawa for many years. Mom was a great inspiration with her positive and happy outlook.  She was dedicated to her family, church and music.  She followed her love of golf and her passion for music - playing cello in the Ottawa Civic Symphony and the Parkdale United Church Orchestra.  Nancy was a mainstay at Carleton University where she started in its early days as Carleton College, until she retired as secretary to the VP of Finance.  She was a gentle soul whose first thoughts were always of others.  We will miss her ready smile and constant support.  Special thanks to her many caregivers who provided love and compassion during her challenges with Alzheimer's.  There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, August 7th, 2015 from 7 to 9pm in the Bytown Room at the Southway Inn Hotel (2431 Bank St. Ottawa, ON).  Donations  to the Alzheimer's Society are appreciated.
