Passed away peacefully at Granite Ridge Long Term Care, on Monday May 20th, 2013 at the age of 93, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late George Dumitrescu. Cherished mother of Lucia Tudor (Costel) and Mihaela Andronic (Catalin). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Laura, Casti and Cristina. Predeceased by her parents Gheorghe and Elena Urse. The family would like to express heartfeltthanks to the staff of Granite Ridge Long Term Care facility, the Dialysis staff at the Civic Hospital and Goldsmith Medical Services for their exceptional care and warm support. The family welcomes family friends and everyone who knew Marina for the wake at First Memorial Funeral Services – Fairview Chapel, 259 St-Patrick Street – Ottawa (corner Dalhousie), on Wednesday May 22, from 12 pm to 2 pm. A Memorial Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, May 23rd 2013, at 12 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held immediately following at the United Cemetery in Carleton Place (2677 Cemetery Side Rd, Carleton Place).
