Lucille Desjardins (née Thériault), Décédée le 25 août 2013, à l'âge de 86 ans, elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Marcel (Linda) et Diane (Angelo), ses petits-fils tant aimés Michael, Patrick (Stacey) et Fabien.  Chère soeur de Thérèse (Roger), Jeannine (feu Gérald), Lorraine (Gérard), Maurice (Lorraine), François (Muriel) et Jacques (Claudette),  Elle laisse également deux belles-sœurs, Pierrette et Simone de nombreux neveux, nièces, cousin(e)s et amies. Elle rejoint son mari Claude, sa soeur Pierrette et ses frères Jean-Marie, Roger, Robert (Claire), Paul (Dorothy), Bernard (Anita) et Germain (Madeleine). Un merci spécial à Ginette Roy et le personnel du Centre d'hébergement Maison bon séjour, 2 Nord. Le service religieux aura lieu le samedi 14 septembre à 10 h en la Cathédrale Notre-Dame d'Ottawa, 385 prom. Sussex. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 9 h 30. Des dons peuvent être offerts en sa mémoire au Patro d'Ottawa pour le Club de l'amitié, un programme pour les personnes aînées francophones.

Lucille Desjardins (née Thériault) passed away on August 25, 2013 at the age of 86. She leaves her children Marcel (Linda) and Diane (Angelo), her cherished grandchildren Michael, Patrick (Stacey) and Fabien.  Dear sister of Thérèse (Roger), Jeannine (the late Gérald), Lorraine (Gérard), Maurice (Lorraine), François (Muriel) and Jacques (Claudette), she also leaves behind 
two sisters-in-law Pierrette and Simone and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her husband Claude, her sister Pierrette and her brothers Jean-Marie, Roger, Robert (Claire), Paul (Dorothy), Bernard (Anita) and Germain (Madeleine). Special thanks to Ginette Roy and the staff at the Centre d'hébergement Maison bon séjour, 2 Nord for their excellent care. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, September 14, in Notre-Dame of Ottawa Cathedral, 385 Sussex Drive, at 10 a.m. In Memoriam, donations can be made to the Patro d'Ottawa, Club de l'Amitié, a program for francophone seniors.

Surviving Family:  Children; Pauline (Bruce Parkinson), Daniel (Joanne), Pierre and Paul. Grandchildren; Brandon, Trevor, Angela (Paul) and great-grandchildren; Dominic, Dakota, Nathan.  Sister Claudette.
             
Obituary:


DEMERS, Paul Remi – Passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on Monday, August 5, 2013 at The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre.  Loving father of Pauline Demers (Bruce Parkinson), Daniel (Joanne) Demers, Pierre Demers and Paul Demers.  Loving grandfather of Brandon, Trevor and Angela (Paul) and great-grandfather of Dominic, Dakota and Nathan.  He leaves behind his loving sister Claudette.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Pierrette (nee Jacques) Demers, his two children Terri and Andre, and siblings Jeanne & Clodette.  The family would like to thank the generous and extraordinary staff of Perley Rideau and the caring staff members of Rideau - North 2nd floor.  Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of First Memorial Funeral Services – Fairview Chapel – 259 St. Patrick Street, Ottawa, ON.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.  In memoriam, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Veteran Affairs’ would be appreciated.  Online condolences can be made online at www.firstmemorialfuneral.com.
